A criminal was arrested this Thursday, suspected of the murder of a caretaker in Nicanor Otamendi and of committing a multi-million-peso robbery in Miramar. The suspect, known as "Beby Moyano," was found by police hiding at his sister's house on 112 Street in Miramar. Last Sunday, Luna shot and killed 75-year-old Alberto Horacio Costa, who was caretaking a field in Otamendi, about 35 kilometers from Mar del Plata. Upon arrival, authorities confirmed that weapons, money, and other items belonging to the victim were missing. Two days prior, the man had committed a robbery—at the side of other accomplices—in a bakery located on 37 Street, from where he fled with about ten million pesos. Subsequently, investigators linked both crimes, and upon reviewing security footage, they observed a subject walking with difficulty—a limp—a detail that was decisive in identifying Luna. Furthermore, authorities managed to identify his accomplices in the heist: Víctor Andrés Piris, 30, and Gustavo Manuel Gutiérrez, 23.
